Does a spouse who doesn't want you to have his email password have something to hide? He has mine and has as far as I know never checked my email. I would never check his either unless he knew about it. He seems very defensive when we talk about it. All the couple I know share an email address. Just curious on this subject.

He's obviously hiding something and it's already a red flag that he gets defensive when you talk about it. Hire a private investigator if you are suspicious on your spouse. It's a good investment and you'll get the answers you're looking for!

red flags! red flags! I knew my ex husbands passwords to everything except porn sites, and I know my fiances passwords to everything (he didn't know how to use a computer until I taught him a year ago, so I had to show him how to set up passwords, etc). I only check his e-mail if I absolutely have to, and even then I let him know about it. He knows mine and he never checks it, as far as I know. It's called a matter of trusting your fg/bf or spouse.

YESSSSSS try to find it im sure you'll find ALOT of interesting things on his email!!! no wat you do is never ask for the password over the phone cos he'll have enough time to delete stuff of so what you do is when you are both home go sit infront of the comp and ask him for his password and tell him IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE GIVE IT TO ME!! then you will know for sure just make sure he cant get to it before you be smart about it !! GOODLUCK

ASK HIM. Obviously this suspicious behavior is going to cause negative thoughts on your side. Tell him, "hey, I gave you my password to show you that I have no reason to believe that anything I do with my email would incriminate me, why don't you feel the same way? DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE?"

i asked my wife for her email pw after showing her my email, she has been chatcheating on me, she has done it before, she hides her email because she has guys emailing her im sure, so a person who hides things from their spouse has something to hide, answers like its private should send up a warning flag, if your spouse is not sharing email pw then you can be pretty sure something is wrong

Doesn't mean he has something to hide. Just means that he wants to keep his privacy and so should you. Being married doesn't mean that you give up those rights, and you don't have to share everything. Some things should just be kept separate.

You must be a woman...why are women so interested in making sure that a man has nothing that is "his". Get a job or something to take your mind off your insecurities
