Over The Hedge is good for more than a few laughs. I've heard X-Men 3 didn't suck so I'm looking forward to that. Personally, I have yet to get tired of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy and Serenity.

Check those old classic flicks-- you can't go wrong with:
Any Mad Max flick
2001: A Space Odyessey
the old Planet of the Apes joints
Tron
For a little more modern, but not the out-now-in-theatres $h!t, check:
Se7en
The Last Castle
Kill Bill I & II
Donnie Darko
That'll get you started. All winners. Enjoy.

Cars, is a great movie to see, if you like animation.
If you're in for some heart pumping action, go see Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Thank You for Smoking is a hilarious film, if you like satire.
