Is it acceptable for guys to cry at the movies?

I feel it is completely acceptable for a man to cry at the movies. It is an emotion which is fine to share with others. You wouldn't ask if it were acceptable to laugh, smile, get angry, etc... Of course, there are times when certain emotions may be displayed when it is not appropriate though nerves may make us do inappropriate things. We are humans not robots. Our emotions are meant to be shown, it dictates who we are, what we feel. Could you imagine what the world would be like if we couldn't decide for ourselves what to feel, how to act?

I am a total girl when it comes to sad movies and tv shows. in fact, never in my life have I ever met a girl who cries more than me when it comes to that kind of stuff. And as far as what's acceptable or not, idgaf. I cried like a ***** while watching Lion King 2 days ago.

Yes i have cryed at movies and it does not bother me Titanic made me cry my grandma passing away made me cry so yes it is allright to cry just about anybody with emotions will cry!

i see nothing wrong with it. i think it is really cool if a guy feels comfortable enough to cry in public let alone in private. it deffinatley doesn't make you less of a man.

depends on what kind of guy you want to be. you can be the kind of guy who acts like a normal human being with normal human emotions and normal human reactions when they're having normal human emotions.

it is fine, my hubby did it back when he went to romantic movies, now he wont go because he doesnt want to be seen crying in public, lol
