Have you researched the care and costs of owning a monkey? My mom wanted to at one time, but the monkey itself was several grand, not to mention the food and other related costs. In some places it's illegal to even have a monkey as a pet.

Before you go forward, you should check if it is legal to own a monkey wehere you live. Most U.S. states have made it illegal. Also, monkeys make awful pets and if you still want to buy one, online is a terrible way to go. You have no idea under what conditions the animals are being raised or the reputation of the person you are buying from.

No. Most monkeys are endangered and will not adjust well to to the enviorment of your home. The cost per year along with the fee's you'll have once the goverment finds out will be between 3000 and 5000$

No. Monkeys and apes do not make great pets. They can be easily destructive and if angry can use their strength to even harm you. Not to mention you are dealing with animal that has alot of intellect too.
I wouldn't get such a pet unless you are willing to devote alot of time and money to it.

I always wanted a pet monkey. They say that they do not make good pets tho. They are fierce biters and never seem to grow out of it. They have bad tempers.
