Eleanor Roosevelt. She was very caring and against any kind of
discrimination. She believed in equal rights and fought for benefits
for the working man, and poor. She had plenty of talks and sway
with her husband and probably changed his mind on a lot of
controversial decisions. I think she was loved by many. She would
of made a wonderful 1st woman president. When she saw or
heard of a injustice , she would try to get a remedy for this and if
it needed a law would campaign for the passage.
I admire her and think she was great.

I would have to say many of them contribute in their own way, but Elenore Roosevelt was instrumental in the formation of the UN. Of course she's now probably spinning in her grave seeing how it's turned out. But you have to give her credit for its roots.

Nancy Reagan
She did a lot to discourage drug use in the US making it her mission as first lady. She showed a lot of strength during the five funeral proccessions she attended when Ronald Reagan died.
