I am a firm believer in the paranormal. I know that many things can be explained such as, light annomalies, noises and electrical activities. However when I was on a night shift in an old psychiatric hospital, I was writing up my notes when I suddenly got an urge to turn around. As I did there was an old victorian nurse sitting on the end of an empty bed. She looked alive. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I felt absolutely no fear at all. In fact it made me feel safe and comforted. To this day I have never been able to explain it. Some of my colleagues also saw the same lady and when they looked again she was gone. I have not experienced anything else like that since and that was 15 years ago. Weird, but curious to know if it was one of my relatives who had all so spent there lives working in the same hospital. Many have now passed on still feeling passionately about medicine. who knows-the truth must be out there somewhere.

Empiricism. I have no faith. I need to experience something for myself before I can fully accept it. Then again, I'm an atheist - that's not very open-minded now is it? But prove me wrong and I'll be the first to admit my mistake.

Life on other planets? Sure. Probably plantation, maybe insects or something, potentially intelligent life. It's a possibility, but you'd have to prove it to me.

Ghosts - believed for a while andthen decided it was a projection of the human mind used as a coping strategy for displaced emotions.

I think too much.

I believe in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, Leprechauns, Elves, and the psychic powers of the banana!!! even though im 35, ive got PeterPanites i will never grew up.

I believe in God as I don't think all that I see and experience came about by some freak chance.

I believe in God because it gives meaning to my life.

I believe in God because I don't believe in a purposeless, selfish life.

I believe in Vegetarianism because I respect all of God's creation.

I believe in Vegetarianism because I don't like people exploiting animals for money, e.g. McDonalds, Wimpy, Burger King, KFC etc etc.

I believe in Vegetarianism because even science has proved that a vegetarian diet is sufficient for mankinds development and needs.

Nothing. I'm trying to rid myself of all beliefs and simply look at my own experience.

Belief is like the Lazy-Boy of Consciousness: it doesn't require any action. It only wants acceptance. It is often a tool of the power-hungry to control the weak-minded.

Live your life fully. Let your own experience be your guide.

I used to believe in things. It was fun for a while, but I got tired of being wrong.

I'd quite like to find something else I believe in, but it seems like a lot of work.

I think I'd have liked to be a hippy. Born too late again. *Sigh*.

I belive in God. I dont believe in aliens. I think ghosts might exist. I think i belive in possession and demons ...maybe.
