Hi, I found out that my friend is moving with her family back to Puerto Rico. She was my only friend that I have for two years and now I'm trying to find ways to make new friends again. But I don't know any good places in New York to meet new people. So I was wondering if any New Yorkers that is reading this may know a good place to meet new people. If you could, can you name the place and where it is located in New York? I hope your anwers can help me. Thanks.

Times Square, 14th Street Union Square, Star Bucks, 34th Herald Square, Lazer Park on 47th and 7th Avenue!
But you can meet friends anywhere but you just got to have good instincts on picking people... There are plenty of people usually in Toys R us in 42nd street and in Red Lobster 41street and 7th avenue. Has Long has you are friendly you are good. Oh yeah one of my favorite place's PORKY's Bar (Porkys NYC) is located at 55 west 21st Street
between 5th and 6th ave in the Greatest City in the World

Try New Jersey, every body from New York is moving there. This will make a better friendship because you will know people from two places. good luck

Hey i recommend times square around 9 o clock. the theaters is also a good spot to meet people

There are lots of free concerts in Prospect Park. I don't know how convenient that is for you.
Find music you like, start a conversation with someone there who also likes that music. At least you'll have one thing in common...
