How come in gum commercials, they always place one end on the tongue then bend it before putting it in the mouth?

now let's kiss.

From one who's learned a lot about advertising and media----
it's a sexual thing.
It sounds terrible, but it's true.
It's also a sensual thing. The advertiser is trying to fully convey the 'pleasure' derived from their amazing gum by slowly placing it and letting the gum roll onto the tongue (the sexual part).

There is a really interesting part to advertising with women. Look how many ads -on tv, in magazines, etc. have the woman on her tummy with her legs in the air behind her, sometimes crossed.
We did a whole study on this in college.

Hope that helps!
:)

I think it's so they can elongate the moment the gum is in the person's mouth. I think it's supposed to be a sensual thing...which is why it's usually the women who put the gum in their mouth.

What would it look like if they wadded it up like we do, and stuff it inside their mouth, it wouldnt want me to go buy gum.

maybe that's the way to release more flavor from the gum. you know get your money's worth.
