Sinks designed to spray water toward the basin and out onto you.
The same sink placed at the crotch level of your average male.
Parking lots designed where the exits are one large blind spot.
Cell phones that almost guarantee you to hang up on someone when you grab them to answer them.
Automatic towel dispensers. Do these things EVER work?

Crutnacker, great question! I am often baffled by the $hit a$$ design of things we use every day. I can relate to the sink example 100%. Also in the work rest room, what about the toilet paper dispenser that is right next to your leg/knee when you are sitting, so to remove paper you have to move over to one side and the paper rips anyway because you are pulling it up towards you instead of down? Also in the bathroom, those paper towel dispensers that give you one little sheet at a time and then get stuck after dispense two or three pieces, so you have to crank that manual knob thing? I guess the company is trying to save money by limiting how much paper you use. So, I levy my own tax on the company by ripping out more paper towels than I need.

I've had a really long day at work, so I can't think of any other good examples right now, but I can totally relate.

I'll tell ya --- I am not a wimp and I'm not an old lady........but man, if I don't have a helluva time trying to open packages lately! Especially anything sealed in plastic, like food -- or even things like CD's. Man, they either think that someone's going to shoplift them, or do something untoward to it, so they industrial strength wrap stuff. I HATE THAT!
