No, he was not chosen to represent the US team in this World Cup. Interestingly, since he hasn't yet suited up for the U.S. in a FIFA sanctioned game, he is still eligible to play for Ghana. The same team that just eliminated the US.

no. and i've heard from ESPN that even if he would have been on the roster he wouldn't have played, because he is too immature physically
