Not having presents on a birthday-cause thats my own unique day.

Not getting presents on Christmas. Birthdays come and go and the food is the best part (the dessert), the friends, the games.
BUT Christmas is about a belief in someone special who remembers us if we have been good or bad. No matter how small the gift, the thought behind it - especially if Santa sent it (I am 50++++ and still hear the bells on the reindeer on Xmas eve. Can't wait to wake up to see what 'he' has left. )

i think its worse to not get present on ur bday b/c its the day that u were born, but on christmas, i dont think its that big of a deal if u dont get a present. i personally dont celebrate christmas b/c im muslim, but i used to get presents, i could do without the presents if i had to

Not getting presents on Christmas, b/c everyone knows it's Christmas. Sometimes, people forget each other's b-days, so it is more forgivable. You know, I am going to contradict myself, totally. That one is too rough to answer. Just give me a freaking present.

Both my kids Birthdays are the week before Xmas - the 18th & the 21st. We always have a completely seperate party for the birthdays. Otherwise it's cruel and totally unfair

not getting a present on my bday for more than one reason my bday is on valentines day so id be crushed and christmas isnt all about presents id rather give on christmas!!

Christmas would be the worst!
I'm 31, I don't "expect" birthday presents anymore because frankly I wish people would just FORGET my birthday (who wants to get another year older!!??). But Christmas....I'd be devastated!! :)
