Initially, it was a good thing to remove Saddam, but now it seems, to the Middle East, that Americans used it as an excuse to get control of the country and its resources for its own benefit.
That is how it is seen by the world, and of course, as long as we are there, the uprising will continue, its now a fight against the Western world trying to impose a democracy that doesn't agree with Muslim religion. Some cultures can only have order by means of threat. This applies to some Latin American countries, when the threat is removed, chaos follows. The democracy transition in Mexico is one example. It will take decades for political stability. This is also true for Irak. Generational assimilation can only bring stability in countries with conflict with democracy and all that it entails.

I don't like what Saddam did but the US isn't helping the situation. The Middle East is just as unstable as it ever was. For the people in Iraq one dictator was swapped for another.

When you invade any country, (unless you are brain dead)you are not welcomed as liberators. You are at war with the iraqi people You may call them any name you like,but it's the people you have to defeat No puppet govt. can change that

Osama killed 3,000 on US soil... and Bush said he doesn't care where he is...

Saddam killed 0 and we sent the vast majority of our army to find him...

Research and decide. I say no.The people could have taken him down at any time.They outnumbered him.They let fear rule them. Now,how much are they vested in their freedom??
