Eveyone knows WWF smackdown wrestling is fake and nothing mroe then steroids guys fake fighting, it's lame and a waste of time, why would anyone watch it? (suggesting, you should be watching the ultimate fighter that is 100% REAL)

It's fake to a point. I doubt there really was any way for Mick Foley to fake falling off the top of the Hell in a Cell. Ouch! The storylines are obviously fake. I don't suppose Kane and The Undertaker, for instance, have those names on their official birth certificates or driver's licenses. But hey, it keeps the fans happy. It's just a big melodrama where they instantly get to beat the crap out of each other when someone angers someone else.

Sure it's fake, but with the exception of the news, documentaries and pro-sports, so is everything else on TV. Movies are predominantly fake, as are books of fiction. Yet there are millions of people who swear allegiance to their favorite television shows, buy trashy magazines and watch celebrity focused shows to keep up with their favorite stars, and spend free time reading books.
It's just another form of entertainment that people enjoy. I watch it because I used to watch it when I was little, so it feels comfortable to me, and the story lines can be pretty funny and make me laugh.

OK, it's no longer WWF, it is now WWE, next, I know it's all fake, but I watch it because it's entertaining to me.
Some of the guys on there look hot.

It isn't fake, its staged. People really fall, really hit the mat and floor, etc. I love UFC also. Check out my question on UFC 61 for predictions.
What WWE really is, is a soap opera for men. Its entertainment. Part of the reason I like it, is because it IS so silly and ridiculous. And as far as the roids comment...you can't tell me there aren't those in MMA who don't juice....cuz there are. If you don't like it, then don't watch it. No one is hurting you by watching it. So just watch UFC and enjoy it.

I don't know why do people watch movies when they know they are fake. And it is called WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).
