i saw this story and was astonished. i have been searching and searching for the best hamburgers in los angeles for a long time and even asked the question here on Yahoo! Answers. but there is no way i would pay $100 for a hamburger. i think its a bit over the top. but i must admit, as a hamburger conisseur, i am curious as hell to take one bite and taste it!!

Me, no...but there are many people on the planet with so much money that they will buy / order what they want with no real thought of the cost.

As a percentage of weekly income, $100 for your Bill Gates level person is far less than 100 CENTS for us plebs. Of course, the other side of that same coin is that we might spend say, $5 on a hamburger without thinking, but that same amount of money might feed a third world family for a week !!!!

OMG... that is crazy isnt it? Are they including the drinks with that price? LOL - Anyhow, I read that article today and it said that the burger came to almost $125 after taxes and the tip (I think). I read that they were donating $10, I think, to some charity for each one they sell. Thats great and all but cmon now... how many can afford to pay that much for a burger yet alone be stupid enough to pay for it. Personally, I would rather take that $100 bill and head to Red Lobster but hey, people do weird things with their money. So to tell you how I feel - thats absolutely insane!!!
