No, definately not. I never had any bleeding with my first son and he turned out just fine. Not everyone has bleeding when the fertilized egg implants in the uteran wall. If you are really concerned you can take another pregnancy test in a week or two, or call your doctor.

I have 2 children by 2 different women and BOTH of them had some bleeding in their pregnancies. My 1st child's mother had bleeding at 13 wks and then continually off and on until she was 36 weeks and the baby was fine and full term and weighed 10lbs and is now an 8-year-old. No one knew why this happened and it obviously it wasn't anything.

My second child's mother had bleeding at 11 wks and it lasted 7-10 days straight and the doctor didn't do anything and the baby was fine and he was born full term and 9 and a half pounds! He's a healthy almost 2-year-old now!

My sister had bleeding at 5 weeks and was PARANOID she was going to miscarry and well, she didn't. I have a 5 year old niece now and she's as healthy as anything!

A lot of women spot/bleed during pregnancy and usually it's benign and doesn't mean miscarriage. Almost ALL women my 1st child's mother's doctor said bleed in the first part of pregnancy.

On the other hand you don't have to have implantation bleeding to have a normal pregnancy. A lot of women don't bleed in pregnancy too.

Just relax and trust that everything will be OK.

My ex used the website http://preg.fertilityfriend.com/

It has message boards and a lot of cool women to talk to!
My ex made a lot of friends!

Good luck! And congrats!

No, you do not have to have implantation bleeding to have a viable pregnancy. It is actually less common for a woman to have implantation bleeding, than it is for a woman to not have implantation bleeding.

I did not have implantation bleeding with this pregnancy, I'm now 17 weeks along, and my baby is fine. I have had four ultrasounds, and have been able to listen to the baby's heartbeat on three seperate occasions.

Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy!

No implantation bleeding can be so little that you never notice it or it can feel like a light period everyone is different. I have never seen myself have implantation bleeding. But I have had friends that thought they had gotten their period.

No, in fact most women do not notice any implantation bleeding at all.

if you do have bleeding then at that time you should worry, for now all seems fine. By the way I use a diminutive of my name as Lola and my last name starts with a B.

No, you don't. I didn't have implantation bleeding (or cramping) with either of my babies.
