Yes, 1938 Indonesia qualified for the World Cup, under the name DUTCH EAST INDIES.

well,, maybe it's false.. coz Indonesia was still under Dutch.... we (indonesians) hadn't became Indonesia yet.... so i think it's impossible. And in 1938, (i think) there was no football team, even education wasn't good yet...
Welll,, yaa.. no no no... Indonesia never gone 2 World Cup... many reasons make Indonesia couldn't reach it

No, they never qualified to world cup. the team who qualifies in 1938 (france) was not indonesia, they was india. and also china qualified in 2002 worldcup. (sorry for the wrong answers of some of the friends.)

Yep, actually they did. In 1938. And it is their sole appearance at the world cup until now. They've lost all three games.
