I would say they are more than likely doing that...all the facts point that way. they certainly are teating them in a way that would otherwise contervene US law if they were kept on home soil...otherwise why bother with all the secrecy??

No. There are no reports of the U.S. torturing anyone. There are reports of other countries torturing prisoners FOR the U.S. So far, all of the reports have turned out to be false when investigated by the media, but they don't every publish their corrections on page one the way they publish the errant stories.

The U.S. doesn't torture prisoners. If we want information, there are better ways of getting it. Torture will make people say things that aren't true just trying to get the pain to stop. We want accurate information, not made up stories. It's faster, easier and you get more accurate data without putting prisioners through pain.

Its done by everyone. everywhere. It is kind of an oxymoron to say 'rather than listen to Van Halen at 10 gazillion decibels day and night with disco light flashing while standing on an ammo crate" versus being raped by a pair of German Shepard's (a past if still not used favorite in some South American countries) I'd say torture is torture...period.

However...if I could pick my choice of music I'd prefer to go with the music, light and ammo crate road.

Hope that cleared up things.

Gee are the terrorists torturing and KILLING our soldiers? YES THEY ARE!!!! By the way....according to the Geneva Convention any NON UNIFORMED person that fails to comply or are perceived as a threat can be executed on the spot!!!! Since the insurgents are not military members we can kill them all!! We don't do that unless necessary. But nobody seems to care about that. Our soldiers have been tortured EVERY TIME they have been captured. Our soldiers should be or priority, not terrorist scum!!!!

I think so. It is part of war and war is ugly,.Rules get broken especially when the opponant breaks all the rules also.If the torture of one human that will extract information in order to save many lives and prevent another 911 it is then morally acceptable and I would have to condone it.

I believe it depends on what you consider torture. I've heard from different sources that different things are used, like shaving heads which is considered shameful to muslims, playing loud music, and different things that are relatively small compared to the torture that the terrorists would inflict upon their enemies. They don't hold the same value for life that we do.

Of course they are! Have you been asleep? Are you a bush butt buddy?

The CIA is as corrupt as any organisation gets. And W is so screwed up he'd prolly think it is a religious experience.

We are experiencing the most corrupt and out of touch government in my lifetime. Soon you will have to call them Heir Bush and Heir Cheney.

No, but they should be if we really want to win this thing. The other side is doing whatever the hell they want and libs dont seem to care much about that. Libs only care about hindering the fight of the usa. Shame on them all. May they rot in hell beside the muslim fanatics.
