Are you more concerned about a person't looks in order to be associated with them or do you look within?

I am very much a real person, and I give great thought to how I treat other people. This does not depend on their looks, what is more important is what they have inside and their personality. Admittedly looking good is a plus point but what good is being with a hunk or a drop dead gorgeous woman when what comes outtta their mouths is utter rubbish?

Looks will fade in time, but inner beauty lives on and will be cherished and remembered even when that person is gone.

I'd have to say that I look within. I have a very diverse group of friends. Some are better looking than others. My fiance ofcourse I think he's hot, but I hate the way he dresses. It doesn't mean that I am embarassed to be seen with him though, it's just something we joke about. I don't care how people look. That is why I think most teens these days are so shallow. They are so focused on the outer that that is all they are. None of them have a real personality or know who they are on the inside.

I admit and can honestly say that I do think about a person's looks before I talk to them, but it doesn't play a significant role in deciding whether I talk to them or not. I do factor in their sense of style whether it's clothing, hair, make-up ect. I usually try to find out how that person acts with their friends, and how they are as a person. I've gotten involved with a lot of people who look nice, but are mean and cruel. I've also been associated with people who might look a little scary/intimidating, but are among the sweetest people I've ever met.

I always think about a motto before I make contact with someone, "Looks are decieving, don't judge a book by it's cover." It's one of the truest things I know.

Always look within. Outside appearance cannot prove what a person has inside their heart and soul. If you give up on getting to know someone based on looks alone you might be walking away from a true friend or soul mate.

I don't care much about the way a person looks, but i would be attracted to the one who's better looking.....I'm not shallow, but it's human nature....we all love beauty, and that's why we buy and sell it....but in the end of the day if i had to make a decision about who to choose, i'll choose character. For one simple reason, if i choose looks, then by the time they are 50 or 60, i would have chosen nill, but character lasts!!!
Cheers!

I am a real person and it goes well beyond whether I see looks or a soul. It also has to do with the car I drive, the clothes I wear, the make-up I buy or don't buy.

Plastic people care about materialistic things. Real people care about real needs and see people for themselves, rather than there possessions.

Personality my dear...is everything. Only a person of good manners and intellegent conversation will benefit and survive in life. We get along with people because we enjoy their company. Not their looks. If you choose to do the opposite then a shallow life is going to be led. Sheep if you like.

Hope that hit the mark for you.

I'm a real person, all 165 pounds of me. I never offer my opinion, I only give it when I'm asked. My opinions are always truthful, even if the truth hurts. Some people can't handle that very well, but I try to treat others how I'd like to be treated, and if I'm doing something stupid, I'd want someone to tell me!

i'll say what everyone isn't saying. looks are what attracts people first. Then comes the personality. No way do u look at someone u've never seen before and say "hey, i think I like their personality". Doesn't make any sense. Let's all be real about that!

I look within the person. Its the personality as in terms of nature which is more important rather than the looks, Looks are temporary whereas person's soul is permanent.
