I think that most of the problems are human error. If you take the pill at the wrong time in your cycle then you will be taking the sugar pills at the wrong time as well. I guess though that the body is also able to fight to reproduce, that being our basic chemical makeup. Condoms should be full proof barring any tearing of the condom.

No birth control method is 100% effective. If you don't want to get pregnant ever you can have an operation. If you use more than one method (the pill & condoms or the shot & condoms) your risk of getting pregnant is lower. But still not 100% garuanteed.

Birth control often does not work because girls miss some facts:

Pills don't work when you have diarrhea or have to vomit, antibiotics kill the effect as well - and some other remedies do as well.

Implanon works a lot better than pills because many behavioural risks are deleted.

Read the package. It says that they are not 100% effective. The most effective method of birth control is abstinence.

There really is no safe sex. Science can't perfect the prevention of pregnancy. The best way to prevent such an occurrence is abstinence, and that's a fact.

the most effective, and 100 % guaranteed, if you drink a glass of water. ( instead of making love). My grandfather said that.
He was a gyneacologist.
The body sometimes itself wants a baby so much its a miracle.
The biological clock is just ticking.

1. Don't have sex. I know...I know...
2. If you have already had a child, you could get an IUD (intra-uterine device). It causes your periods to be heavier, but it is just about as effective as sterilization, and can be taken out when you want to conceive.

Abstinence. Always works. Can't get knocked up if you aren't doing anything.

My mom used to say 'hold an aspirin between your knees'.....her cute way of telling me to abstain from sex. If you are not ready for parenthood, abstain until you are!
