It's not so much the toes, but the arch. The desired foot has a very high arch because it accentuates the lines of the leg. On the flip side, people with high arches often have weaker ankles.

I always recommend Freed pointe shoes because I LOVE them. I have Egyptian feet too and you really want to find a shoe with more of a tapered box like Grishko 2007.

Jody actually didn't have a very good turn out. In real life she does.

when i began pointe 2 years ago, they told me that it wouldn't be best because of my wide foot, but it hasn't been a problem with me. I am flat-footed and have a wide foot, which is probably the least desirable type of foot, but it all depends on your skill, and how graceful you appear. ballet companies don't really look so much at your foot, but your talent. they told jody in center stage that she didn't have good turnout, but was a great dancer nonetheless.

a good starting pointe shoe is bloch's "signature rehearsal" shoe. it will depend on how your foot is shaped, but from your desription, it is a lok like mine, so it should work out fine. you may want to check other recommended shoes by the person fitting your feet, but yeah. good luck!

I like bloch , i think thats how they are spelled, they are fairly priced too!

About your arch, I use to have flat feet...but with time you will develop an arch, just keep pointing your feet!!

if you want to go pro, and think you can, go to a preforming school of arts!!!
