it depends. sometimes, i like to mix my wine with dessert. next time, get a chardonnay (any kind) and any type of chocolate dessert. chardonnay and chocolate is a good combination! mmmmm...

It just depends how hungry I am, and has nothing to do with whether I have a drink with my meal. But I rarely order dessert anymore, since the entree portions are so big.

you go out to eat to enjoy yourself, nobody should dictate to you what that is. people do love to give suggestions about food and wine pairing, but it is ultimately about you and what you like. i have never seen a server who will not bring out more food!
