YES- he's hitting very well right now- has over 40 RBI's and has guys hitting behind him that can knock him in pick him up

Without a doubt, I'd do this. Phillips gets better average and a bit more power than Tadahito. Surprised Phillips is actually available in some leagues.

lol i bet you're looking at their yahoo rank and thinking phillips is rank 90 something...he must be better!

not sure why that guy says phillips has guys behind him to knock him in...he bats 7th in the lineup...he's saying the catcher and pitcher batting behind him will knock him in...lol! don't get me wrong...phillips is a good player. but hitting behind kearns and hatteberg doesn't give me that much confidence. phillips had 17 rbi in a span of one week...which leaves 25 RBI for the rest of the season. stats aren't everything....

iguchi is as solid as they come...look at the 50 runs scored and he's done it for the entire season except for one week where he went cold. sure he's going to tank a little in RBI but he bats 2nd in the lineup in front of thome and konerko. i'd much rather stick with iguchi.

if you really want phillips (maybe to trade)...pick him up and drop another player. sometimes yahoo ranking means nothing.

YES>.. phillips is the man...and when kearns, dunn, and lopez all get on track phillips numbers will sky rockets.. cause he will get way more runs scored....since he'll be battin 2nd in the lineup
