Well, it's a risk either way. You can either choose to plan a future and hope and such, and then have all those plans wasted if you die tomorrow. Or, you could choose not to plan for the future, and have your life wasted if you live for another 60 years.

Life is full of choices and risks. Life is risk management. Every choice you come across should result in you weighing risks and consequences for whatever possibilities you choose. If you decide that it's not worth planning a future based on the (small) risk that you'll die soon, then you are welcome to decide that, but you also have to deal with the consequences if it doesn't happen.

The average lifespan is around 75 years, so that would be a safe assumption as to how long you will live. You don't know when you're going to die, so all you can do is play the odds. If you happen to die before that, it seems like you only wasted a few hours of planning. If, however, you decide to live in fear of death, and never plan, then one day when you're 75 years old, you'll look back and see that you have wasted your entire life. So now I ask you this: Which of these is the risk you are willing to take?

You want a logically answer. How do we plan for the future when any second we can die? You plan you days as if they were your last, and every morning you wake up and your still alive you thank god and plan again. Waiting to die is a good idea. But planning your life around it is a good idea. Live life to the fullest, don't hold back falling in love, jumping out of a plane, getting a tattoo, piercing your ear, getting married. You just don't put it off you do it and if you live another day then you fulfill another thing until you run out of things you want to do or want to discover, and by then it will be time to die. That my friend is how you plan your future when you at any second you can die. Don't think about dying, and don't thinking about doing anything. Just do it and just live!!! :)

Your future plans are for your children and any family you may leave behind. God has assigned us here for a purpose not for ourselves but for other people. Just like the people in your life where brought to help you along your journey. There's no way you can plan for a future that you may never reach. The only thing is you can put some money away and let it grow with passing years. Besides when you die you don't take anything with you except the clothes they put on you.

Yeah everyone will eventually die, it's part of life there's no other way out of here. I think the reason why you should plan your future is that you have NO idea when you're number is up or when you'll go so why not make the most of this life!

First of all i know where your coming from i don't believe in anything but if you want to know why people plan for the future is because they want to know that when they died they completed something so when they become a ghost or whatever and hear about "oh they did this well" and "they did that well" they feel good even if they are dead.

We can die at any second. That doesnt mean that you dont need to make plans. Its all up to you...if you want to live on after death (ie make a dent in other peoples lives), then you are going to have to decide whether or not you actually want to make a difference that will allow you to live on even after death.

Yep we are all going to die.
I see no point in wasting living time waiting to die.
I think planning for the future is more about hoping we get to live it and if we don't then leaving something for those we leave behind that we loved.

You can't just live life to the fullest and pray to God to seek you through. But be sure that if he was to come back right now that you have serrender to him and all his work was filled.

Choices, decisions. Make the best of a situation. Unless the Dr. has told you your time is limited...
