well.......the higher they go, the more you feel like you have accomplished something, and the more you try to keep then going up....really it's pointless... if you think about it, we always check to see if our answers were rated as best! when in the end it doesn't mean anything and doesnt' make much difference...
it just gives us a sense of accomplishment....
