Once my teams are out of the playoffs (didn't take long this year, unfortunately), I lose interest anyway.

I have two or more hockey games a week of my own to worry about, which is almost enough hockey for me.

I love to watch hockey, but would rather play, in the end.

I am SO bummed that hockey season is over.
It sucked when they had the lock-out, I totally got back into it, and now I am to wait 5 months for the new season.

Go Wings!

It's always a letdown when the NHL season ends, Baseball isn't all that compelling yet.

But, please don't be sad. Hockey will be back soon enough.

Baseball will get more interesting soon. I know that it's a poor subsitute, but it'll help pass the time.

Spend some time outside ;). The fresh air is good.

yes, but then again, my team is still training so i'm not all that sad. and besides, here in the netherlands they never show it on tv, i didn't even get to watch the first part of the half finals during the 2006 olympics live!!! how evil is that?? and all because of some other stupid sport which they show here on tv like ALL THE TIME!!!!
so i only knew the season was over but i couldn't really notice anything anyway...

Absolutely...I want next season to start like yesterday...but I am excited about the offseason when teams re-sign players and others sign with other teams. But nothing beats the NHL season and especially the playoffs...I really can't find a replacement I just try to keep busy and be with my family more.

I miss hockey to a certain extent and I agree watch the World Cup. Closest thing to hockey with the fast pace, continious play also with the low-scoring it'll remind you of pre-lockout NHL ;)

Yes.....especially since this season was preceded by lockout. I can't watch soccer, and football is too far off as well......guess I could catch a little baseball.
