Not if you buy an original metal slinky and not one of those crappy plastic ones. Which in my book, are not real slinkys!!
The biggest problem with a slinky is that it tends to get all tangled up, then they get all stretched out when you try to untangle them.
You need to get a metal slinky, then it'll walk down stairs alone or in pairs!

You need to find an old slinky. They used to make them out of strong metal springs, not the cheap junk they use now.
