I grew up in a State of Confusion

Grew up in the state of Kentucky, that is until I finished at university. Came to Spain on a dare as my Spanish professor at university said that people from Kentucky never wanted to leave Kentucky and I've always been big on dares. Anyway, I came to Spain for one year only (more or less 30 years ago) and I'm still here. I visit Kentucky when I can, but I call Spain my home. You know 'home is where the heart is'. Besides, I prefer the lifestyle (and weather) here.

I live in a state which, within the hour (8 am) will cease to function, unless the state officials get their act together and pass a budget. I live in Ocean County, New Jersey, USA. Lived here all my life.
