We want to be like everybody else. Try explaining to a highschooler that you can be an individual?

Because, people are insecure about theirselves. They also believe that someone is better than they are, and want to be as good as them, or better. Also, some people don't like doing the same thing all the time and have to change. Others have to stay with the trend instead of being an individual which seems to be diminishing every day. I don't like myself, so I always am finding something I don't like, but I wish that I didn't feel like this.

WE are so easily bored with most things these days that we are looking for changes to challenge our intellect. Everything happens so quickly we don't think we have the time to take in just a few subjects we feel the need to involve ourselves in so many options that we have got into, are learnt so fast it is always next next next. Fast food, fast cars, fast internet, fast trains and so on. Changes we must to live again..[think]

I absolutely believe because of peer pressure, it haunts everyone and they probably just feel like they need to make a change weather it is hair skin and nails. It is hard sometimes just who to except who you are even though ur right we should try!

Physically, I think it's pressure from society. Really, the media bombards us with the Angelina Jolie images of how a woman's figure should look and the Bradd Pit images of how a man should look...it's hard to get past that.

its a very natural thing, especially for those who have very low self esteem.people feel, they really are not the best.they always want to be someone else, not looking into who they are,and the potentials they have within them.i used to feel like that before.i felt my nose wasnt straight enough,nd my hips were too large.i continued fretting myself until one day,my mum told me the importance of loving urself nd appreciating who u really are.ive never looked back since then.

I grew my hair out long (to my shoulders). My hair is a golden blonde/brown color. One day, I simply decided to chop it all off and dye it dark. As for why? Because change is good, and fun. As for why others do it, I can't say, maybe they are posers.

Some people are just plain saddos and follow like sheep-I think people should accept who and what they look like and be happy with what ever we are born with, i wouldnt want to look fake like that tart jordan with her inflatable breasts and general plastic barbie look!

T.V.,peer presure, the need to have kids who are better than us. Various reasons. I think it comes down to 'human stupidity'. Let me know if i'm wrong?
Do I seem stupid if I say 'what you are Is what you are' or
'Tommorow didn't exist yesterday' ????
Its all true!
