I think that when seeing and witnessing these 'Katrina' victims, I feel sad and desperate for them when I am just sitting there on the couch watching the news!
But then again I am thankful that it's not me and my family in that same danger!

It's so their fault. You chose where you live, if you chose to live in a high risk area you may have to pay the price someday. And theas people are not the 'poor', as they had houses(so i'm poorer then them as i have no house just a closet appartment).
Anyone who sits back and waits to be saved is just dumb, take some responibility for your own life. You life can only get better if you do something....not by sitting around and waiting for a handout.

Living on the water? No matter where you live, its not the persons fault. We cannot control the weather,No matter where you live it can happen to you or anyone else.So to all the people affected due to Katrina, i wish you all luck.*****
