Josh Boone

The two guard spot is the Suns' deepest position with Raja Bell, Eddie House and Leandro Barbosa, the Suns don't need another guard after drafting Sergio Rodríguez at 21, so Shannon Brown won't fit here. With Amare Stoudemire's health in question, this athletic bigman is just what the doctor ordered. The Suns can't pass on him if he's still on the board.

Adding Boone at 27 and Sergio Rodríguez at 21 could help vault the Suns to the finals.

-Marcus Vinicius-
He'll likely go by "Marquinhos" once he enters the league -- think Nene -- and there is no doubt he deserves to be ranked in the drafts top 20.

If "Marquinhos" is still up there this late the Suns will come up on a huge steal. There are teams who are already impressed with his skill set. He has the size to play both forward spots

Reports are he's an intriguing prospect given his size, athleticism and strong floor game, which features and excellent mid-range game and better than average passing skills.

He'd also be a hands-down winner of a Raja Bell-lookalike contest. :)

ok shannon brown because he is a andre igudala and if he goes to phenox he can dunk like VC j-rich he can dunk with the best

Strengths: Brown is one of the most explosive athletes in this draft and possesses good length, huge hands and excellent strength. His first step is terrific and he finishes with reckless abandon thanks to his impressive strength, body control, tenacity and outstanding vertical leap. Brown shows good awareness as a passer and is adept at finding the open man. He takes pride in his ability to get in the face of the man he is guarding and dictate where he wants to lead them. His intangibles are solid as he’s been praised for being highly coachable and an outstanding citizen.

Weaknesses: Brown is certainly stuck between NBA positions. He has a shooting guard’s mentality with the size of a point guard. His in-between game is underutilized because he either explodes past his man on his way to the hoop or pulls up for a 3-pointer. He needs to create space to operate offensively beyond using his athleticism. Brown has been inconsistent throughout his career. He lacks the polish to truly utilize his excellent physical gifts on a nightly basis.

Outlook:There is a sentiment that Brown was not able to show what he is capable of due to Michigan State’s rigid offensive system. With the way the NBA is utilizing combo guards in Brown’s mold, he could most certainly have a long and productive career. It’s hard to envision him as a starter, though.

first off I highly doubt Shannon Brown or Rajon Rondo will be left on the board at 27 regardless of what yahoo says, so I'm counting them out of the equation-

If I'm the Suns I'm thinking my star big man went down with an injury last year that maybe cost us a championship so I'm going to be looking to get a solid big man(if there are any left) to fill that backup spot in case Stoudemire is to get hurt again....

In conclusion I think they'll take Josh Boone of UCONN...solid defensive player for a team that really doesn't need to add any offensive help
