if you were told that a nuclear bomb was on its way to the united states and you knew it was gonna affect the state you live in what would you do in those few minutes before it hits??

Get away and get upwind. One Nuclear bomb isn't going to destroy an entire state, except for maybe Rhode Island, but I don't see Rhode Island as a real target. You would be much more likely to get affected by the radioactive fallout. So your best chance is to avoid being downwind.

Start taking potassium iodide capsules to ward off thyroid cancer if I were to live that is a major cause of death in the after effects. If possible I'd locate to a fallout shelter or someplace deep in the ground or a heavy concrete building or even a mountainous valley. Lastly I'd take a huge cash advance on my credit, sell all my investments, and do a huge EFT to my family members.

I would grab a cold beer, pack a bowl in the bong, grab a lawn chair and sit on the roof and watch it fly in and blow. Theres really nothing eles you could do.

I'd get my whole family as close as possible so that we all died together. I'd savor those last few minutes with them, and then when it came, I wouldnt be scared.
