I think that it should be mandatory in the U.S. to carry a gun when you turn 18 years old. It's a fact that the countries with the highest guns per citizen have the lowest crime rates. I don't think anyone would commit crimes if they knew the person had a gun on them. All these stupid Liberals want to take away our guns cause they hate America and want to leave us open for attacks! They love the high crime rate!! Who's with me?

Id have to say i think that would stop the crime rate. I also think its unfair that they wont let the honest people that are just trying to make a livin have one. the honest people are the ones that always tend to get murdered while the people that killed them are running around in the streets with the guns that the U.s gives us hell, just to be able to carry one to go hunting with.

Countries with highest guns per capita also have different cultures.
Liberals don't necessarily want to take your guns away and it would never happen anyway-- 2nd Amendment anybody? NRA?
That doesn't mean it should be a free-for-all. You need to register your car and need a license to drive. Its not unreasonable to ensure people who buy weapons have a clue about using them and using them for the right things
Oh, one more thing-- let's just go ahead and arm every Habib, Akmed, and Mohamed while we're at it. Let's not worry about what potential terrorists have guns. Yeah, that's a good thing.
There are really very few restrictions to speak of. Unless you're talking about the banned assault weapons, one can own all kinds of weapons. quite your crying.

In countries where "honest" citizens were banned from carrying or even OWNING guns,the crime rate has dramatically risen! It`s only a matter of time before it happens here,then we`re ALL (except for the criminals) screwed! The military (ours) WILL be used against us,and we will not be able to fight back! I'm a liberal and I don't hate America. I don't want our guns to be taken away, either. Guns are not dangerous - PEOPLE are dangerous. That's why not every dingbat needs to be armed. Some people really don't need easier access to murdering someone.
