In internet explorer, go to tools-> Internet Options. Delete files and delete cookies. That can help. Otherwise, you may need to invest in a speed upgrade with your current or by finding a new ISP (Internet Service Provider). Give your current one a call first though, to make sure the speed issue is not on their side.

besides getting DSL or Broadband, i have Localnet as my ISP and i get up to 6x Express, for as low as $12.95 a month, and i have been using it for years, and they are pretty fast as far as dial-up goes, however it will also depend on what kind of computer you have. I use to have a 40gig, 128RAM computer which was pretty slow, and now i have a 100Gig computer with 512RAM and it goes a lot faster and it only costed me $500. Also if you don't already have it, and depending on if you meet the requirements, i have Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2, which is pretty cool and a space saver. Also try Disk Clean Up, Disk Defragment, and Deleting Cookies, in order to free up space. With the computer i have, i do this like every other month.
