square inches doesn't matter. 3/4" is thicker than 1/2"

3/4 inch is thicker by 1/4

Well obviously if you multiply 3/4in. x 1296in. it equals 975 in. squared, but if you multiply 1/2" x 75" it equals 37.5 in. squared. So I might be wrong, but i think 3/4" x1296in. is gonna be thicker

3/4" X 1296" = 972 1/2" x 75" = 37.5

in most given dimensions - thickness is listed typically in a three dimensional description - these number appear as 2 dimensional description, therefore neither is thicker
