I don not have a best answer how do you put it up for voting?

there is a box to the right of the question that should offer that as one alternative, alongside deletion, etc.

You mean your question does not have a best answer? Or you have never been picked for best answer?
You have to wait 24 hours after asking a question, then you can pick the best answer - just go to the question.

that is what I do just put it up for voting, i vote on as many as I can a day and rate resolved q&a's all day and answer questions of course it burns a little time.

Yahoo emailed me and told me that if you don't choose an answer at all, then it will automatically go up for voting after the question expires.
