If you are using Windows, double-click My Computer on your desktop, then double-click the icon for your CD drive. It will open a window displaying the files and folders on the CD.
CD's only open a window automatically if there is an autorun file on them.

Click on My Computer, and look for the name of your CD Drive (maybe D:/?). Double click that, and you should be able to see the files on the CD.

Go to
Start Menu
Run
Type "D://"
Substitute D for whichever alphabet is assigned for your CD drive on your computer.
Another option is going to "My Computer" from either your Desktop or the Start Menu
