What ever happened to the NBC series: "Surface?"
Was it canceled after the first season?
I kinda liked that show...would hate to think they all got trapped in the church belltower for eternity.

NBC cancelled it after 15 episodes...

Looks like the first (and only) season will be coming out on DVD, though.
Who knows? Maybe the Sci-Fi channel will pick it up...

It was Sir Face Elton John who started the show and the organization Straight Pride petitioned NBC to end the show cuz it was so GAY !
Half the NBC staff were already members of the Straight Pride organization so they voted the chairman of NBC out the door and cancelled the show "SURFACE" and told Elton and the show actors to "Go to BELL"
Hey - that's eternal !
Must be church goers.
The downside - the show's sponcer TACO BELL decided not to create the Elton MEATY MAN Burrito . Gag me .
