I mean, given the abysmal failures of the Bush Administration and this Republican controlled House and Senate, rubber stamping Bush's war-mongering, his unabashed cronyism, deficit spiraling out of control ... does anybody notice? ... Does anybody care?

Who ever is in office now, vote them out! Political affiliation makes NO Difference! When EVER there is an election, vote out the incumbant. The LESS time a political criminal has in office, the better for the people!

While I disagree with your statement, I still am dissatisfied with the way the Bush administration has handled some things. However, I'm ever so grateful that he was in position to appoint 2 supreme court justices and I shudder to think how different our country would be had a democrat been in the White House. I'd really rather vote Liberatarian but I realize they don't have much of a chance to win.

I'd like to hear how Chris figures dems can't be trusted with national security. 9/11 happened on Bush's watch not Clinton.
And he was even warned about it before hand yet did NOTHING.

To answer the question, Yes. Dems before R's. I would vote for any party's decent candidate but the Republicans are useless. Unfortuntely, the Dems are equally uselss but the lesser of two evils. If a decent third party with a chance to win was around- I'd vote that way.

Considering that the Democrats have proven that they can't be trusted with national defense and security, I'd have to say no.

Dapixelator: Well, for one, let's look back at Clinton and the Democrats' record on handling terrorism. WTC bombing in '93? Nope, did nothing. Khobar Towers bombing in '96? Nope, did nothing. Two US embassy bombings in Africa in '98? Did nothing again. Oh, wait - he did bomb that aspirin plant, which by pure 100% coincidence, happened on the exact same day that Monica Lewinsky was testifying before the grand jury. And how about the attack on the USS Cole in '00? Yep, you guessed it - nothing done again. Is it any wonder why al-Qaeda would feel emboldened to pull off a 9/11? And did I mention that bin Laden was offered to Clinton THREE times, and he refused to take him. Had Clinton actually done something about these guys, 9/11 would most likely never have happened. But that would have been unpopular...

Two, let's talk about the Homeland Security bill, passed in '02, and how Senate Democrats stalled and tried to block it because it would allow the President to fire incompetent workers. Senate Democrats were more concerned with the rights of a few thousand union workers than about the safety of 290 million Americans. Yet when the President called them out on it, their leader threw a fit. Well, you know, if the shoe fits...And you trust them to protect you? I don't.

I, personally, will probably vote democrat in the 2008 election, especially if another Bush is running. It could be a tight race, though--party affilliates will vote for their parties, and if Hillary Clinton is the democratic candidate, some sexist voters will be scared into voting republican. However, I vote the candidate, not the party, so if the republicans can somehow find a candidate with integrity, I may change my mind and vote for him.

If I got a VD from a crack whore that seriously rotted my brain between now and November then yes, I'd be likely to vote Dem. Otherwise, I'm good not voting Dem.

Actually, I'd be happy to vote Republican and Democrat if the Democrats would lose the baggage, like Al Franken and Michael Moore, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and John Kerry.

If Joe Biden gets the DNC bid I have a chance. But I'll most likely vote libertarian again

Yes. I think democracy needs party changes every so often just to balance things out in the long-term.
