I collect knives and want to start selling them as a family fun weekend project at little town festivals/flea market type things...is there any laws or guidelines about selling knives at these type places or how I need to display them/bag them up etc.? ? I do not want to break any laws.

If you check with your local police, they would be able to advise you regarding the laws regarding sale/possession of the knives (including maximum lengths, age restrictions, etc.).

Hope this helps!

You can't sell them to anyone under 18, is all I know about the sale of knives.

Do you have a sellers permit and business license? It might also be helpful to check to see if you need insurance, just in case. I've sold knives at fairs, and some required that they be "out of reach" of kids (i.e. on a raised table). Good luck!
