Hey im a kid going through puberty and i am 5 feet 7 inches, turning 14 in two months. I grew about 6 inches in 1.5 years and will i continue to grow at the same speed/rate??? I drink a cup of fat-free milk a day i think that might help?

Also about when will i stop growing heightwise??
If you can remember can you tell me what was ur height at 13 years old and what is a good height for men that isn't too tall yet too short? thanks.

Also is it ok to go out with a chick like 3 inches taller than me lol?

Your final adult height is dependent on a number of factors. Genereally it is thought to be 70% Genes and 30% Nutrition. By This i mean 'how tall you can grow, but not necessarily how tall you will grow' is largely determined by how tall your family is. If your parents are tall there is a good chance you will be tall.

5 foot 7 is a good height for someone who is just 14 and you will continue to grow - but no not at the same rate 6 inches in 1.5 years is amazing but u 'will not' continue at the same rate and will gradually slow down towards the end of puberty until you stop growing at an average age for boys of about 17 and younger for girls about 14 - 15, i was about the same at14, im 5 foot 11 now (same height as my dad).

Nutrition is extremely important during this period in your life and yes milk will help to give you strong bones and help you to continue to grow in a healthy way. You should be drinking a little more milk generally, 3 cups a day.

No one is to say exactly when you will stop growing, some men continue till their 20s so you'll know in the end, just look after yourself, dont get into bad habits that could stunt your growth like smoking and you are likely to be a big strong lad soon. It is always good for a man to be tall and whereever you end up is good, no one is to say what a good height is but over 6 foot is considered good really (opinion not fact) - be proud of however tall you are.

and lol yea....its ok to go out with a chick taller than you if you're cool with it...girls go through puberty quicker and so are taller than boys at first and then guys catch up - generally ending up taller than women - dont let height interfere with your love life.

and good luck keep growing! - talk to your doctor for real useful advice on your growth and 'any' questions you have.

Well I am 6'3.5"

I grew 7 inches in one year when I was your age

and another 5 inches after your age at around 2 inches a year stopping at about 17

I am guessing you will grow at least another 3" -4" - if you look at the height of your father, uncles and grandfathers and average it all out and add an inch thats about where you will end!

Go out with any girl you like regardless of size - there are no rules except for you both to have fun and be happy

Being 5'7" now doesn't guarantee you're going to be excessivley tall as an adult. Suppose this is as tall as you get?? Hmmm? How can anyone know when you will stop growing? Fat-free milk still has calcium which you need even if you were 4'11". Any height is a good one for a man. Remember that. And yes, it's fine to go out with a girl of any height you are comfortable with.
