I have done customer service, and what Yahoo has is not customer service. When YAARG was acting up, I kept emailing "customer care" and no reply. I called their phone number, and all I got was a curt little message saying they don't have phone support for free services. What a crock. I they didn't have the advertising that pays for everything, we'd all have to pay them to use it, so why the hell can't they offer phone support? What if the site iteslf is down? Yahell's Customer Care department needs to change their names to Yahell's Customer Don't Give a F*** department.

Well considering all the questions that are in Yahoo products category I'd say no, I've never had to contact customer care, but I believe it's all automated. That says to me that there is no customer care. Customers expect and have a right to get personal help with their problems, that includes emails. As far as I can tell Yahoo's customer care service consists of the customer contacting them, and they don't care. The emails are never responded to, except for an automated one, and many problems are never resolved.
That's not customer care, that's a huge company providing a load of email addresses that automatically trash everything it receives.

Yahoo's customer care is a joke. There's nobody there. They rarely answer emails, and when they do it's with a form letter that has absolutely nothing to do with your query. I really don't know why they even have a link for it, couldn't they put an advertisement in it's place?

No I don't. Can they--maybe. They have got to realize that those of us who use their free services are best advertising they have. I introduced several people to answers before it to seed and they spend money here. YAT wants to have it's cake and eat it too. Computers are wonderful--but nothing beats a kind caring voice telling you that they will do their best to fix the problem. Customer Care does not exist on this site right now. Will it ever? I hope so.

I totally agree with you! Well said! I contacted them and got no reply, I have several violation notices for 'chatting', even though there was no chatting involved. I also know they've suspended a couple of decent users and left some of the crappy ones, not a lot gets me mad, but this certainly does, I asked on here if Yahoo actually reads the emails we send to them, and I got YAT Katie, Kate or whatever she is telling me to email some random person! They need to sort things out ASAP or they will end up with a really bad site with nothing but nasty/racist/vile questions on it. Thank you for allowing me to rant. :)

Up to recently, I thought so , but I noticed that when I used the
a ss work they took out ss. After all the filthy words and things people ask and say and then monitor and change that one
word, I was explaining the word assume . When you assume you make a *** out of u and me. see what I mean. Also,
I did what I thought was a excellent and tactful answer to a semi
paralyzed gentlemen in describing some alternative sex positions and won as best answer. I noticed both question and answer was
deleted. This is starting to remind me of when the schools wanted
to censor the reading of books and wanted to take out The catcher in the rye and other classics.

What?!? That's ridiculous, they should do a better job at looking at supposed violations and reading the content instead of giving violations willy nilly then they wouldn't have the problem with people complaining about unfair violations or suspensions, flipping people, it is uncaring!! I totally agree with you.

. This is a known phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful

Do they really exist? They deleted one of my question in surveys that was a survey(it was cracking on them) Why tell us to reply if they never do? I hope MSN Q & A is better when it starts.
