Ok, hear me out. My man told me that when white people are by themselves (especially teenagers) they great each OTHER with the N word. He says this word is such a big part of pop culture, that even white people say it to each other now. Is this true?

He says they say it to each other as a greeting, not in a derogatory way.

the people your talking about are the wiggers they r so desperate to be black they do anything to be that way but they know they will get the crap beat out of them if they say 2 u . so when they r around their fellow wiggers they can pretend all day long their black and proud personally im not that way id feel stupid i think they act that way because thier afraid they wont like them as much. ive got more black friends than i do white i guess because ive played sports my whole life what i think wiggers dont understand is if they act their true self they will respect them that much more just show love and respect and be true 2 yourself and each other if everybody did that the world would be amuch better place but thats just my theory i could be wrong.

Hi,
As for "white" people using the N word to greet eachother. I have not witnessed it. Society has placed such emphasism on the N word as being derogatory to the "black" race that it is even shameful for a "white" person to greet eachother with that word. I'm not saying it isn't happening. I'm just saying it hasn't happened around me where a white person greets another with the N word and I've been to 3 different states (dad is in military) and have not witnessed a situation as so.

I'm 40 and can only speak for my generation and preceding ones-- NEVER did we do that. It would have been too nonsensical to do it even as a joke. As for the later generations nowadays-- who the hell knows what they do and why? They say and do ALL kinds of ridiculous nonsense. I couldn't imagine them saying such a thing but I couldn't imagine why a young white person would listen to rap either and apparently they do!

Never heard that one! I can't imagine!

I asked my son, 14, goes to primarily white school, but there are quite a few blacks as we live near an Air Force Base and he said "No way! We'd probably get killed."

I teach in the inner city, where 98% of the students are black and the blacks do use the word all the time, but when a white kid tries to use it, the same way the blacks are using it, there is always trouble. The black kids say they can use it, but not whites.

they do, they're called wiggers. *NOTE* they will never ever greet a black person like that either only whites. they do, a royal a*s whooping is gonna ensue. I wouldn't say it's part of pop culture but more black culture. blacks use it very much the same way, nonchalantly, to greet others or say what's up. white people who do it have A.) identity issues or B.) trying to be something they;re not and are too stupid to realize it.

My best friend is black and married to a white guy. How Dare you be racist. Why don't you get a white man. It would make your life happier.

Yes, they have obviously been around afro youngins that used the word in a non demeaning manner thus have deemed it a term of endearment.

I don't know any white people who use the "N" word. It's not clear to my why Black people use it either...considering it is a word that means something that any civilized person should detest.
