So as far as I know, using vitamin E oil is a good helper. I say good because depending on how big the scar is and how old it is effects the turn out. If the cut is new, keep it covered from the sun. The sun will only make the scar more defined, using vitamin E oil to rub into the skin can help, not a lot is needed though. No guarantee, most scars are there for good though, best of luck with this.

Time's the only real way to make em fade. A uniform tan that includes the scar tissues will help a bit, but they'll still be visible. (scar tissue tans slightly different than unmarked skin) The bigger, scars will never go away without plastic surgery, but can be made less noticeable. :-D Just be glad you're not a keloid former. It's more "cool" for a guy to have scars, but I'll always look like I wrestled an aligator. (souvenires from military service)

I dont know. But they do fade eventually. Mine aren't as noticeable anymore, but they're still there. Every once in a while when it's hot outside I'll put a little bit of makeup on my arm and leg and they're pretty much gone. If they do ever fully go away, it'll probably be a while.

Have you tried something like Mederma? They are less noticible the less you tan, as well - the pigment doesn't change the same way in scars as healthy skin.
Otherwise, they will fade with time.

Three steps
1) scrub daily - to avoid being bored, buy a few delicious-smelling tubes.
2) rub in Mederma 3 times daily diligently.
3) drink lots of water.
In a few months u will see significant result. Good luck!
