How can the American legal system, which is so devoted to protecting individual rights, justify itself morally if it jeopardizes, through its own rules, the right of law-abiding citizens to personal peace and security?

It might help us to answer your question if you give some examples of what the hell your talking about.
But i'll give it a shot:

The liberals know what's best for you. That's why people like Rosie o'fatass says no one should own a gun. "If you own a gun, you should go to jail." But it's ok for her bodyguard to go out and get one to protect her and her little bastard children. (yes I called them bastards, look it up).
It's easy to be a liberal when you live in a gated community.

the american legal system is out for your money. that is why we keep having new laws put upon us, and none taken away. it is all about creating revenue.

I have an answer for the many questions like this. "it's the lawyers or politicians. Most times "It's the lawyers AND politicians.
