Yeah, you can. It will take a while. Check out freighter lines. They carry a limited number of passengers along with the cargo. I am pretty sure there are some running between the UK and Mexico. It is actually a pretty good way to travel if you have the time to do it.

Probably, on a cruise or something, check online; but it would take a REALLY long time and be really dangerous (think Titanic). Can she seriously NOT fly (recent surgery, pregnancy, etc)? Or does she just not like to? If she just doesn't like to, see if you can talk her into it anyway, only 1 in 1,000,000 planes actually has an accident. Get her an aisle seat so she's away from the windows, etc.

Good luck though...

Check here. Should be a cruise, or combination of cruises to end up in Mexico via the Gulf of Mexico.

Head West from the UK, turn left at the US or Canada, and turn right as soon as you pass Florida. Should take about 3 weeks.

Yes, but you'll be a lot older by the time you get there. I would suggest a boat to America, then a drive across the coast.

some do. the clarification for why that is not common to save boats aloft is because they don't look designed for raise and the propulsion isn't proper for flight. The propulsion is proper for water. replace the propulsion, the aerodynamics and upload wings then you actually have a flying device.

Go north by train/bus/car to the arctic and then you can probably find a boat to take you to greenland and then scandinavia. Then train down to belgium and ferry to England.

the easiest and cheapest is the freighters...no luxury but lots of fun with the crew! I think the ships still dock at Tampico bay.
