... all we have asked is "where are the WMD"... members of the Bush administration have come out saying that they were mistaken and iraq didn't have any...
it would certainly be a step in validating the war though...
Cheney said on meet the press that he knew where they were (the ones produced post gulf war) and that we would get them... that clearly was not true... since they have done neither in several years...
if there was a terrorist attack tomorrow in the U.S. (God forbid), would Republicans think that Iraq was an effective deterrent in the war on terror?

What a silly question! What if this, what if that. To date, no WMD's have been found. Believe me, they wanted to find them, and would have done so by now if they existed.
What if you were to find tomorrow that the administration started the war in Iraq because THEY WANTED TO. And that's really the only reason?
If I were to hear that they found WMD's made in the past few years, in other words, since Saddam was deposed (we've been in Iraq over 2 years now), I would say that we have a pisspoor intelligence community, a pisspoor command structure, and zero control over Iraq since they made these hypothetical WMD's under our very noses. I would say that this just proves that all we've done in Iraq is create a whole new community of terrorists, since NO wmd's predating the invasion were found.'
P.S. The main reason I sought you out is because I don't have e-mail enabled (if you said things like I do, you wouldn't enable it either!) and I saw you "?" about online Mets broadcasts. They broadcast online at: http://www.wfan.com/
We live in Montana, so this comes in handy for us.
See, us liberals are not all bad, are we?

Since the goal of the liberals is nothing more than to have the US lose a major war and be destroyed, it would change nothing for them.
Liberals don't care about the WMD issue or anything else related to the rightness or wrongness of what we are doing. These are issue of convenience and manipulations (easily discarded if it suites their purpose) for trying to trick american, again, into losing a major conflict and allowing a genocide (like what happened after Vietnam).
Genocide is their immediate goal. Their long term goal is the deaths of millions of americans as part of a greater plan to overthrow democracy and replace it with communism.
If we had any brains at all, we'd be rounding up liberals and imprisoning them someplace where they couldn't hurt anyone anymore.

Give it up, dude. They'll never be satisfied. We could find a massive stockpile of WMDs that were made just before we went in, with instructions to use them on our troops in case of an attack, and the liberals would say we planted them there. No find or reason will ever be good enough for them.
This is precisely why we must never appease them. Give them an inch, and they'll demand a foot. Give them a foot, they'll demand a mile, etc. You get the idea.

If they were made the last couple of years -and couple means 2 (two) in the English language--
--- It would mean they were made AFTER we invaded, and under the noses of our military, since we invaded in March of 2003---- 3 (three) years ago.
I would ask that the military explain how Iraqis could manufacture WMD's while we occupied the country.
What would YOUR reaction be if tomorrow we found WMD's made in the last couple years???

I'm not a liberal but I would like to respond some of what they have been saying. It's rather interesting to note that documents have been found that show that Iraq had biological weapons capabilities and could have gotten things started within 2 weeks if he decided to use them. There are transcripts where Sadaam is actually making plans to use them and other weapons. No suprise this has been ignored by most of the media.

You haven't defined "bunch".
Justification was that sadaam was a clear danger to US. He wasn't.
Even with what we found and if we found some more weapons, it still doesn't justify what we've done. We've spent over $280BB on this little jaunt and growing. WE have commited to generations of occupying a land that will NEVER be stable. They have been fighting with each other for 1000's of years.
get a clue... Bush created a mess WE NOW OWN. Why can't you people understand that.

It still wouldn't change the reality of the criminality of the current administration!
After all the things I've learned about the Bush family over the last few years, nothing could change my mind about how evil he and his family actually are! They are money, and power hungry criminals, willing to do anything to get more!
Then I would say they got lucky to actually find some WMD's, nothing more...

Look, we went to WAR based on the testimony of Ahmed Chaebti. ONE person. The only other person to testify was discredited by the British's Rockingham project.
So we invaded a country under false pretences..period!!!!
