I think so. When I was younger, people said that I didn't have a sense of humour. Now I'm cracking people up and over. You just have to be loose about things. My best idea is to watch comedic TV shows like Friends and Sienfield. Have a laugh and see what things are funny to you and others.
I would definately not trust any books that attempt to "TEACH" a sense of humour.

BTW, thanks for your terrific answer on my rollover IRA with fidelity, very insigthful. Glad I didn't call them and make a fool of myself!!
As far as humor, trust me, I've lost 10 grand in 4 months, if it weren't for humor, I'd be pretty pissed!!! It just takes looking at things a little differently. With people for example, if there's a conversation taking place and there is an opening for a funny comment, take it and say it. No one frowns on good clean humor! It will always be taken well.
If you watch movies or tv shows and hear something funny, steal it! And use it often. Personally, I love old Saturday Night Live shows like Chris Farley and Phil (can't remember last name). Just steal things that you've heard, that's what everyone else does and they put their own personality into it.
