tell her Daddy is on a job and can't be around. Tell her the truth when she is grown enough to understand. While she is growing keep telling her the stories of him cheating on you and all that. After a time she will be able to understand and probably would not ask you anything lke that. If you want to tell her the truth wait til another 2-3 years.

Dont make up lies, tell the truth.
You and daddy didnt get along, so he left, its sad that he doesnt see your daughter, but sometimes grownups do things without realising that it might hurt someone.
I think its best to be honest, because you never know if the dad will get in contact in 10, 15 years time or your daughter might trace him when she is older, and she will be angry with YOU if she find out you lied.

Hey, I went through something similar. My ex didn't cheat on me (that I know of), but he became a drug addict. I left when my daughter was about 2 1/2. When she started to ask questions i just told her we couldn't get along anymore. I did tell her some of the good things her father did, but I stuck with the "We just couldn't work things out" story.
Good Luck :(

the truth is always the best. and no matter what age, she deserves to know it. how her father is or was. tell her, so she knows. that is what i would do. i see no point in lying about ne thing at all! it just causes more problems all the time in the end ne ways. and the father has not contacted you?did you move? if so, that's probably why

to me the TRUTH is always key in a healthy relationship i know your daughter is only 5, i don't expect you to tell her every detail but let her know that you are her mom and dad and that's all she needs.

i th9ink that you should not tell her that he dont love you guys or hes a p.i.m.p tell her that hes away in work and when she grows like ten or 11 years tel her that he didnt wanna be aman for da family and he couldnt do anythin' so you broke up but my advice for you dont you ever tell her that hes a cheater or anythin' like that.tell her that he loves her and tell her the good things about him not the bad things
