my 12 month old son runs to the tv whenever spongebob comes on. he actualy sings along with the theme song.

he doesnt actually sing the words but hes on target with the melody

Our 10 month old daughter "dances" to the theme song, and smiles as soon as the pirate begins talking at the beginning of the theme song.
I think it's very cute!!
And thank you - I thought we were the only ones corrupting our infant by letting her watch some television!!

My almost 3 yr old does the same thing but to the theme song of Sex and the City and to the Grey's Anatomy theme song. I think it's kinda odd, but I figured it's because I watch it all the time and he's use to listening to the music all time, but it's cute when he jumps around to the music.

Ah new mothers, you have to love them, every thing is so exciting and cute. And yes it is, remember this now, because when he is a teenager, he'll have you pulling out your hair. And he won't be as cute, but never mind, you will love him just as much, and you will survive those years, barely.
But thankfully, they do grow out of it.
So cherish these moments, for as long as you can, they may be your salvation, later on.
