An old scottish term for describing labourers who were lazy and weren't very bright!!!
hodit = the person holding base of post
dodit = the person with the big bloody hammer to hit the post
sodit = the person with a cigarette hanging from his mouth taking a not very well earned break.
A term now loosely associated with council workers everywhere!!
But after seeing your name I suspect that you already had a good idea about the answer!!!
